History

Hooker Creek is a company that has been a part of Central Oregon for over 25 years.  It all began back in the early 1980's when Hooker Creek Ranch was established.  Over 25 years later, the Ranch still produces and trains world champion quarter horses and the name Hooker Creek has come to mean much more to Central Oregon. 

In the early 1990's Hooker Creek entered the Central Oregon construction industry by acquiring Moon Quarry, a sand and gravel pit east of Bend.  At that time 11 people were hired and the company provided quality aggregate products to the Bend area.

Over the next 10 years the company experienced phenomonal growth through the aquisition of a variety of Central Oregon companies and today Hooker Creek employs nearly 250 people.  Today we are a major player in the Central Oregon construction world.  We are the leading Ready Mix Concrete provider in Central Oregon.  Our Asphalt and Paving Division has become the premier paving company in the area paving over 200 driveways in 2008 and a wide variety of commercial projects and ODOT road projects.  Our Civil Construction crews have been involved in many major Central Oregon projects including Caldera Springs in Sunriver and many sub divisions throughout Central Oregon.  Our Equipment Rental and Supply Division continues to provide rental equipment and construction supplies (large and small) to everyone from the homeowner to the major contractors in the area.   We are also pleased to carry a variety of environmentally friendly products for our green building partners.  This includes Reward Wall Systems Insulating Concrete Forms (ICF's) and more.

Hooker Creek is Central Oregon's only locally owned, full service construction materials providers.  As the company has matured, we have become a fully integrated company with a diverse group of product lines.  We have come a long way in a very short time, but one thing has remained consistent.......our commitment to Central Oregon.
