Exposed aggregate concrete has been around long before stamping, stenciling, and decorative overlays. It blends well with other decorative concrete. Decorative aggregate is a very durable, skid resistant surface, ideal for most flatwork including; driveways, sidewalks, patios and pool decks. It withstands extreme weather conditions.
To achieve the exposed aggregate finish, the concrete is batched or seeded with decorative coarse aggregate, then poured in place. The outer-skin of cement paste is removed to expose the aggregate.
With an exposed aggregate finish, you can achieve spectacular results at a reasonable cost because few additional materials are required.
